This Research Project was undertaken by HITS in 2008-09 and was commissioned by the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) through the Practioner-Led Research Programme in 2008-09. It explores staff and young people perceptions of Integrated Children's Services. The Research report is published here with the agreement of CWDC.

The Study explores the potential for voluntary organisations improving their effectiveness (delivering the mission) and efficiency (delivering it in the most economic manner) through collaboration with other organisations. Whilst the focus is on voluntary organisations in Halton, Merseyside, the Study has wider relevance for the voluntary sector and for policy making in the public services.
