The Research was undertaken by community based orgnaisations across Merseyside, including 2 from Halton - Halton YMCA and HITS.  The programme invloved training for the research role as well as undertaking the research and submitting a report: the final report pulls togwether findings from the indiovidual local projects.

The focus of the Research was on the barriers experienced by:

White disadvnataged males
White disadvantaged females
Disadvnataged communities
Offenders
Adults with Learning Difficulties
